Hafa Adai!
As many of you might know, the soccer team just came back from Singapore. We have gained an experience of playing out of Japan. It was something many people won’t experience if you stay in Japan. One big thing that affected many of us was the food culture. Many of us are so used to the Japanese food that it was hard for them to accept the new environment. On the other hand, I used my English skill to communicate with the locals and hear about where to go and what to eat. I was glad that I grew up in Saipan. Being able to speak two languages is a huge benefit and I am planning to use this benefit for my future.
